Eating a healthy diet can boost your energy levels—both physically and mentally. Unhealthy foods have the ability to hurt our focus and leave us feeling mentally sluggish and tired.

You can boost mental energy to stay focused and energized for making healthy decisions all day long by adding mentally stimulating foods to your diet.

One theory suggests that their brain-boosting capacities come from their ability to reduce inflammation, which increases the flow of oxygen and blood to your brain. Though water isn’t necessarily a food, it’s highly capable of restoring energy levels within the body.
